In addition to setting up the calculation, faculty can also enable certain features to help customize the gradebook to meet their needs. Either way, gradebooks need to be setup before faculty start using them because if they are not setup correctly the students' cumulative grade won't be calculated properly. (Note: “Hide Grades” is not the same as the previous gradebook’s “Mute Assignment” setting.Managers and faculty are able to set up gradebooks for individual sections or for all of their classes at once. If necessary, you can hide already-released grades for an assignment.
